"I have often wondered about the true nature of my form of dance and why the imprint of bodies on the landscape is so powerful. Is it the distinction that is created, or is it the strong and necessary union that emerges between the human being and the places? This is a continuous part of our exploration that, through the tool of vertical dance, allows us to imagine the connection with the environment, sometimes with the distant past and at other times with a compelling present. We are fascinated by delving into the relationship with spaces, erasing some distances, and triggering relationships." Wanda Moretti

The reality conveyed by the territory is reflected in artistic practice and the desire to harmonize the life we are living with the places and people. In vertical dance, theatrical conventions are interrupted; the work is framed by the musical score, but there is no curtain, and probably there is no predetermined observation area. This means that the boundaries and everyday space are blurred for both the dancer and the audience.

The dancer incorporates a personal perception of space into the performance: houses, people, streets, and skies based on the position and orientation of their own body.

Like a continuous flow the bodies of the dancers emerge from the highest floor of the building investigating four actions: Decision, Anger, Fear, Joy.
