Vertical Dance KIT
From 13th to 19th of May 2019 is an international event which gather the main Vertical Dance actors and institutions specialized in dance, circus, architecture and street art.
First time in France! This event will bring together artists, researchers, academics, architects and supporting structures of Vertical Dance in KIT.
Each one will take possession of a “toolbox” which gives the subjects to explore all the verticality of a territory and the techniques to apprehend the vertical dance.
We will find the concept of the Kit throughout the event and in all its forms, in spaces of Paris and French County « Val de Marne ».
Each appointment will give you a piece of the Kit that will make up the vertical geography of this event.
Vertical Dance Forum hosted by Retouramont in Paris.

England “Alternative Perspectives” January 21-25,2019
A 3-day think-tank and practical exploration into making aerial harness work available to anyone wishing to experience it, regardless of their physical or mental disability. ‘Alternative Perspectives’ draws together a group of Deaf and disabled artists and interested practitioners, to consult with members of the VDF group and harness design specialists. Through this workshop, together with a follow on 1-day open meeting ‘Accessible Aerial’, we hope to stimulate discussion and debate around access, skill sharing, and how working with disabled artists might also free up our creative thinking and problem solving leading to fresh ideas. The meeting will take place in Eastleigh at The Point, Eastleigh, hosted by Gravity and Levity.
